Looking Back
As we reflect on the past 12 months, we are thrilled to share the incredible strides, innovations and connections that have defined our trajectory in the dynamic landscape of technology, smart buildings, and hospitality. The Ethnic Technologies theme of 2023 has been GROWTH! Off the back of a couple challenging and turbulent years in the construction and hospitality sector due to covid and market instability, 2023 has been an exceptional year for Ethnic!
Over the course of year, we were fortunate to be appointed on 24 new exceptional projects across 8 countries, growing our global portfolio of sophisticated luxury projects. With our expansion into new regions, we grew our global team and now have offices in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Luxembourg and South Africa. And with growth, has come planned change. We have welcomed additional team members to the company and have rolled out a number of internal strategic initiatives, culminating in the investment and enhancement of our technology stack and operational processes and major rebrand.
Regional Stories
Africa:
South Africa has had a difficult year with continued disappointing economic performance and challenges. However, we have been fortunate to have been awarded a further 6 prestigious projects in the country. Across Africa, we have continued to grow our strong presence in the hospitality technology and smart city sector, with active projects across 13 African countries!
UK and Europe:
In the dynamic intersection of technology and the hospitality sector, we have expanded our portfolio in the UK and Europe and have developed a highly successful collaborative partnership to deliver exceptional services across multiple geographic regions. As technology continues to redefine guest experiences and operational efficiencies, we have continued to drive positive changes and enable our clients to unlock the true potential of their buildings that we design.
Middle East:
With such an array of technology advanced innovations and initiatives behind them, the evolution of smart buildings and cities is accelerating to new heights in the Middle East. We are excited and proud to have now been appointed on 11 key projects in the region and continue to lead innovation in the sector.
Company Rebrand
In 2023, we underwent a transformative journey, redefining our brand as a leading innovative smart technology company through a comprehensive rebranding initiative culminating in the launch of a new website and social media platforms. The rebrand not only strengthened our brand image but also positioned us at the forefront of technological advancements, reaffirming our dedication to delivering unparalleled solutions in the tech landscape. As we celebrate this pivotal milestone, it marks a significant step forward in our mission to continually set the standard for innovation in the smart building and hospitality sectors.
